Mission: immune-boost. And hello Hawarden!

We’re sure there’s a hashtag out there to do with being too busy to blog (!), but hey ho, here we are again after being just that over the festive frenzy, followed by the Valentine’s rush, when all might look quiet in the garden on the harvesting side of things, but it gets super-busy on the production and dispatching front…

Meanwhile we’ve had some lovely times giving talks about the gardens to the amazing women of the Anglesey WI, and the other week to the brilliant Southampton WI; and landing some fantastic new stockists, including Bodnant Welsh Food in North Wales, and Good Life Therapies on Anglesey, with the National Trust also imminent (once we’ve got to grips with the paperwork!).

Now we’re super-excited to be appearing at the gorgeous and forward-thinking Hawarden estate farmer’s market in their Walled Garden on March 15th. Hawarden has a great farm shop, full of sustainable and local loveliness, and is also home to the fantastic Good Life festival, so woohoo for that one!

We’ve also been flat out with our other venture into mission immune-boost and wellbeing, this time down south at The Retreat, New Forest, where Positive Potions is right at home. The Retreat is on our sister estate, Hinton Admiral, and also has a walled garden rather like the baby sister of Positive Potions HQ at Bodorgan - really dinky-sized by comparison at around a quarter of an acre. Looking forward to the garden growing into a flourishing hub of organic goodness once the storms subside. Meanwhile it’s all about the yoga, the gong baths, the plant-based pop-up cafe, the conscious clubbing and reiki, the Tai Chi, and lashings of Positive Potions. So when we say we’re busy, we should admit: we’re having a lot of fun…
