TERMS & CONDITIONS

Thank you for discovering positivepotions.co.uk We are very pleased to have you here!

We are a privately-owned, home-grown Limited Company, based on the beautiful island of Anglesey, North Wales. Our company registration number is 10980017 and we were founded in September 2017. We started trading in May 2018.

Our address is: Bodorgan, Anglesey, North Wales LL62 5LP (although we are most often to be found in the garden, looking after the herbs).

As we have just started, we do not yet have a nice person on the end of the phone to answer any queries. But if you email us at hello@positivepotions.co.uk, we will do our absolute best to answer you as promptly as possible.

By using our website and placing an order with us, you are agreeing to the conditions below.

PAYMENTS

Positive Potions Ltd uses Stripe to process all payments. Their security policy can be found here.

We can only accept credit/debit cards for payments, and only one per payment.

We may refuse to accept an order in the following circumstances: where we cannot obtain authorization for your payment; if there has been a pricing or product description error; stock has become unavailable.

We will always do our utmost to resolve any issues such as those above. Our aim is to please, and for you to love Positive Potions as much as we do.

Confirmation of orders will be sent to the email address supplied. We will not contact you, or hand on your information to any third party, under any circumstances. However, should you wish to hear from us with any good news or lovely offers we have going, simply tick the box marked ‘PLEASE CONTACT ME WITH POSITIVE NOTIONS!’ Be assured that whatever box you do or don’t tick, we will absolutely never share your details with anyone else. Shocking way to behave. We’ll never do it. And should you wish to stop hearing from us at any time, simply click the ‘take me away!’ button on your latest email from us. We will be sorry to see you go, but you know where to find us.

CANCELLATIONS AND RETURNS

All online retailers are governed by the Distance Selling Regulations. This gives you the right to cancel your purchase within seven days of receipt of the goods. To receive a refund, you must return the goods to us in their original packaging, undamaged and, of course, un-opened, and at your own cost. We will refund the original purchase and postage price. But before you do this, please contact us at hello@positivepotions.co.uk with any unhappiness about our product and we will do our level best to resolve the issue first. Your positive reaction to our potions is our sole aim and purpose.

DELIVERY

We use good old Royal Mail for all our deliveries at this stage, so please make sure you have put any particular instructions for your Postie on your order, and we will do our best to add these to the parcel before it leaves us. Positive Potions are not particularly sensitive to the weather, so do not worry if our packaging has been rained, snowed, or sun-shined on. They should be quite safe inside their box.

USAGE

Once you have taken your Positive Potions out of their (fully recyclable, unbleached, sustainably sourced) cardboard packaging, we suggest you avoid standing them in direct sunlight as this might affect their colour and strength. Best Before dates are on the bottom of the bottles, but as a general rule they should be good for at least a year. Once mixed with water, or indeed anything else, consume immediately to enjoy their full and unimpaired deliciousness.

Please bear in mind that botanical herbs are living members of the plant kingdom, not artificially-produced synthetic ingredients. So you should exercise your usual consideration when drinking them. We have specifically chosen ingredients that contain none of the allergens that appear on the ‘official allergens’ list. We have also had all our herbs checked by our brilliant and lovely Consultant Herbalist, so they are all safe to use for all, including pregnant and breastfeeding mothers and children. But please do your own checking of our ingredients, in case there is something in there that you know does not agree with you.

We use a rapeseed-derived vegetable glycerine as a base carrier for our botanicals. After lots of trials, we believe this to be the best option for the following reasons: it is sugar and sweetener-free, with a low GI, making it a great option for anyone wanting to avoid sugar, including diabetics. It is non-alcoholic, Kosher and GM-free. It is European and UK produced, therefore with the smallest carbon footprint we could find. Incidentally, with a calorific content of approximately 4 calories per gram, and assuming you might use about half a teaspoon per glass, each drink you make should contain about 1 or 2 calories.

The parties agree that where such processing of personal data takes place, the buyer shall be 'data controller' and the seller shall be 'data processor' as defined in the General Data Processing Regulation (GDPR) as may be amended, extended and/or re-enacted from time to time.

For the avoidance of doubt, 'Personal Data','Processing','Data Controller','Data Processor' and 'Data Subject' shall have the same meaning as in the GDPR.

The seller shall only process personal data to the extent reasonably required to enable it to provide the goods as mentioned in these terms and conditions or as requested by and agreed with the buyer, shall not retain any personal data longer than necessary for the processing and refrain from processing any personal data for its own or for any third party purposes.
