Dandelion's key superpowers

We love dandelion! Deliciously tasty and an amazing all-rounder, we use the roots in our Power Potion, alongside burdock - a nifty spin on the traditional favourite, invented by the Victorians. Aside from the scrumptious, rootsy taste, dandelion has been prized for centuries as a liver-cleanser, skin purifier, blood-sugar regulator and diuretic, also great at regulating digestive issues (and recently there’s been a good deal of excitement about its possible anti-cancer properties). The leaves, just sprouting up now, are of course delicious in salads, but it’s the roots we’re after, so we’ll have to wait a bit before we harvest..

Drinking plenty of our Power Potion right now, as it’s a wonderful re-set Potion to help us in the mission to start the year with our immune-systems fully charged, digestions working in tip-top condition (80% of our immunity in our guts, of course), and let’s face it, swigging ‘Power’ is a great mood-lifter in itself, in these strange times.

Meanwhile it’s all about the planning in the Bodorgan walled gardens right now. And - yay! - also about the rebuilding of one of our beautiful glass-houses. So excited about this. Work has begun on the foundations and walls, so we’ll be posting about this soon.
